Acaima Café SAS WCIS Project Lead
This project bridged academia and industry by enabling the certification of Acaima Café SAS, a Colombian specialty coffee producer under the Whole-Chain International Standard for Supply Chain Integrity. Through a partnership between Acaima Café, the University of Rosario, and others, students designed a custom dashboard and conducted real-time audits to strengthen traceability, sustainability, and ethical compliance. The initiative not only enhanced Acaima’s export readiness and brand credibility but also showcased how student-led innovation can deliver tangible impact in sustainable trade and supply chain transparency for small agricultural enterprises across Latin America.
