Please read this registration page carefully before using our submission system underneath for submitting your conference work. See Call for Papers – 2025 IIAL Conference.
There is no cost to submit abstracts. Invoices are generated only after acceptance.
All prices are in CAD $ (Canadian Dollars) plus applicable taxes. Earlybird Discount is available if booked and paid for on or before 30 days from the conference date.

Group Discounts
We offer the following group discounts on registration fees:
15% off for groups of 3–5 participants.
20% off for groups of 6 or more participants.
To qualify, all participants must register together, and a single invoice/receipt will be issued. Note: Group discounts cannot be combined with any other discounted rates.
Additional Papers
Authors presenting additional papers may do so for an additional fee of CAD 180 per paper. This option is available only when the primary author has a full registration in their name.
Virtual Presentations
We provide an option to present your work virtually through Zoom.
Virtual presentation details and Zoom links will be shared closer to the conference date.
A mandatory check-in session will be scheduled before the conference to test your Zoom connection.
Virtual participants will have access to all keynotes and virtual presentations.
Listener or Co-Author Registration
If you wish to attend the conference without submitting a paper or as a co-author of a submitted paper, you may register at the listener/co-author rate.
Note for Co-Authors: At least one author must register for the paper to be published in the conference proceedings.
Competition Registrations
Participants in competitions must register for the conference.
If you are presenting in a competition only, register as an attendee with paper publication.
If you are also presenting/publishing a paper in the main conference, select the competition supplement in addition to your registration.
All registrations grant full access to competition and conference sessions.

Visa Requirements
Visitors must hold a valid passport and may require a visa to attend.
Check visa requirements with your nearest embassy or consulate.
Once your registration and payment are complete, we can provide a confirmation letter to support your visa application.

Payment Information
All fees must be paid in advance. Payment options include:
Credit/Debit Cards: Most international cards are accepted.
Bank Transfer: Information is included in your invoice.
To register, please complete the registration form to receive an invoice or pay directly by credit/debit card.
Payment Deadlines
Earlybird Fees: Payment must be received no later than 30 days before the conference.
Author Fees: Payment must be received no later than 15 days before the conference to ensure paper publication.
Registrations made after these deadlines are welcome, provided payment is completed at the time of booking using a credit/debit card.
On-Site Registration: Participants registering at the conference venue will be subject to availability and an additional late registration fee of CAD 180.
Earlybird Conditions
To qualify for the Earlybird rate:
Full registration payment must be received by the published Earlybird deadline or 30 days before the conference date.
If a paper is not accepted after payment, a refund (less cancellation fees) will be issued.
Changes to Registrations
Please review your registration details carefully before submission. Changes made after an invoice has been issued will incur a CAD 50 administration fee per change.
If you identify an error, contact us promptly at conference@iial.ca for assistance before the invoice is issued.
Conference Proceedings
Conference proceedings will be published as open access and will be available at the time of the conference. Access them here.
Cancellations
For cancellation terms and conditions, please refer to our cancellation policy.
In the Event of Physical Conference Cancellation, and if the physical conference cannot proceed:
We will transition to a virtual format if it is safe and feasible.
Registrants for the physical event will automatically be switched to virtual attendance and offered a refund or credit for the price difference.
